I'm making art again.
I donated the above pictures to the local bus drivers' annual "Military Cookout," which benefits servicemen and their families. The organizers decided to put the drawings up for auction. Here's hoping they do their job (i.e., earn lots of greenbacks for the cause) and find appreciative homes.

Homefront Tidbit: Years ago, I saw "Fear Itself," an episode of the Teen Titans cartoon. Lots of tentacles, rat hoards, screaming people dragged against their will into jet-black shadows; in short, scary stuff. I thought, No way is this appropriate for kids! Currently, it is my five-year-old's favorite episode. I am simultaneously wrong AND a bad parent. Still ... I'm proud of my blossoming nerd, who is now a fan of both Starfire and Beast Boy.
